Unlike the Jungian Shadow, the Optopian version of the Shadow contains a paradox. This dichotomy is defined by the “Death Paranoia” and the “Oneness Rapture”. The Death Paranoia motivates all egocentric actions, and the Oneness Rapture motivates all action of belonging.
