Compensation
The principle of Compensation provides guidance for balancing all consequences that occur in a given system. There are 3 universal Antecedents for all consequences, as codified in this model. This includes Agents (players, actors, entities, etc.) both real and fictitious, Systemics (system structures and dynamics), and Luck (Chance, Fortune, Randomness, etc.).
The appropriate Compensation for a given consequence is allocated to the appropriate Antecedent in proportion to its contribution. The principle of “Merit” is subsumed within this model.
